Our furs are tanned with salt and alum. There are two options, hard tanned and soft tanned.
HARD TANNED - $25
SOFT TANNED - $35
Hard tanned are salted and soaked in alum and fleshed. They are stiff and have not been fully broken. These are great for crafts that require the hide to be stiff.
Soft tanned are salted and soaked in alum and fleshed AND broken to be soft. These are what people are normally looking for. Great for craft projects, making soft and supple bags or moccasins.
